Join The Tower Club and help complete the North Tower, one of the magnificent twin towers.

To raise funds for the construction of the Tower, the St John's Cathedral Completion Fund has established The Tower Club - a club to which members of Australia's corporate and wider community can contribute.

The Tower Club is now under the leadership of Tim Samway, longtime worker for the completion of St John's Cathedral.

Membership of this club now stands at 157...as at March 2006...and includes many donors who have given $10,000 or more since fundraising began in 1989 with the aim of completing construction of the West End of the Cathedral.

THE TOWER CLUB FUNCTIONS
Members are invited to bring their friends and family to functions where they can keep up to date with progress.

Presentations are made by Master Mason Peter Dare and Mr Tim Samway.

Drinks are served in the West End porch from 5.30pm

THE TOWER CLUB BENEFITS
At a cost over 4 years of at least $10,000 per member, The Tower Club benefits include:

Acknowledgement on the Tower Club Donors' Board in the Cathedral
Permanent recognition on an architecturally designed Donors' recognition wall to be constructed in the Cathedral precinct
Name recorded in the Donor's Book permanently displayed in the Cathedral
A beautiful relief sculpture depicting the magnificence of the completed Cathedral
Invitation to the Annual Tower Club Service as well as other special functions and history making events for the building of this great cathedral

As building commences on the North Tower, it will be growing along with the names of those people who have been so generous. Already 136 members have contributed in excess of $1.5 million through one-off gifts, pledges over a number of years or through bequests.

This in an ideal club to be a part of for all those people who would like to make a bequest to the Cathedral Completion Fund. By advising us of your intention, you can become more involved in the Cathedral community and receive acknowledgement in your lifetime, as well as receive invitations to special events in the Cathedral.
