October 1 – Rivers of Service
So Jesus sat down and called the Twelve over and said, “If any of you wants to be first, you must be the last one of all and at the service of all.” (Mark 9:35)
The Murray-Darling Basin, a vast network of rivers and wetlands spanning southeastern Australia, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of humble, behind-the-scenes service.
