The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. (Psalm 19:1)
The “God’s rays,” that paint the sky during sunrise and sunset are a breathtaking display of the Divine’s handiwork. These shafts of light, filtering through gaps in the clouds, remind us that God’s grace illuminates each moment in a unique and beautiful way. Just as the rays change in colour, intensity, and direction as the sun moves across the horizon, so too does the light of grace adapt to the contours of our lives, meeting us where we are and guiding us forward with wisdom and love.
In the intricate dance of light and shadow, we discover a spiritual principle: the interplay of darkness and illumination is essential for growth and transformation. We may sometimes feel lost in the shadows of uncertainty or pain, but it is precisely in these moments that the light of grace can break through, offering hope, healing, and new perspectives. By attuning our hearts to the ever-shifting nature of God’s presence, we learn to trust in the unfolding journey of our lives, knowing that each step is illuminated by a love that never fails.
